Attorney Profile

Attorney DeAguilera is the former City Manager and City Planning Director.  He served as advisor to First Trust  Bank for real estate development and solving land use and environmental problems so that the development projects undertaken by the bank and their joint venture partner Pulsar Development Company could obtain Governmental Agency approvals. 

Attorney DeAguilera also served as special consultant to the Los Angeles Redevelopment Agency advising attorneys and planners on compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act. 

Attorney DeAguilera teaches Environmental politics and environmental law at the prestigious University of Redlands.  He is frequently asked to help other attorneys with issues related to lawsuits against the government and land use and environmental problems. 

As a former City Manager, attorney DeAguilera has considerable experience with employment matters representing both pubic and private sector employees in wrongful termination, whistle blower and discrimination cases.
